My visit to Chengdu also brought me to this place call Du Jiang Yan. It is is an irrigation infra-structure built in 256 BC during the Warring States Period of China by the Kingdom of Qin. It is still in use today and still irrigates over 5,300 square kilometers of land in the region. This is one of the engineering marvel built by the Chinese over two thousand year ago and still standing strong even after the SiCHuan earthquake last year!!

During my last business trip to Chengdu, i managed to visit the zoo of panda which is the largest reserve for panda. That is the first time seeing a real panda instead of watching them in Discovery channel. They look cute and adorable. I finally know why they black eyes, they sleeping the whole day beside feeding time! (Read more inside ..)
